IMPLEMENTASI KEBIJAKAN PENANGGULANGAN STUNTING DI DESA BABAKAN KECAMATAN KARANGLEWAS KABUPATEN BANYUMAS

This study aims to determine the implementation of stunting reduction policies in Babakan Village, Karanglewas District, Banyumas Regency. The method used was descriptive qualitative, and informants were selected using purposive sampling. Data sources in this study consisted of primary and secondary data obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The focus of this study is based on Edward III's theory of policy implementation, which has four main variables: communication; resources; disposition; and bureaucratic structure. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of stunting reduction policies in Babakan Village has been going well. This is evidenced by effective communication, the availability of adequate resources, the disposition of implementers, and a bureaucratic structure appropriate to their respective duties. However, resources, especially human resources (HR), remain migrant; midwives do not reside 24 hours a day in the village, resulting in suboptimal service. Furthermore, the target population, despite being economically well-off, does not recognize their children as stunted, citing inappropriate parenting patterns and habits.
