Penerapan Deep Learning Berbasis Keislaman dalam Pembelajaran IPA di MI Insan Rabbani Susukan Banjarnegara

Science education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) still faces challenges in the form of conventional learning methods that focus on memorization and have not fully developed students' conceptual understanding and spiritual awareness. This study aims to describe the application of an Islamic-based deep learning approach in science education at MI Insan Rabbani Susukan Banjarnegara and analyze its impact on students' conceptual understanding and scientific attitudes. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. The research subjects consisted of one science teacher and fourth-grade students. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed thematically through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the application of Islamic-based deep learning was carried out through the integration of experimental activities, reflection, and reinforcement of Islamic values by linking science concepts to relevant verses in the Qur'an. This approach had a positive impact on improving students' conceptual understanding, active involvement in learning, and internalization of scientific and spiritual attitudes. However, time constraints and the need for validation of the integration of Islamic values posed challenges in its implementation. This study concludes that Islamic-based deep learning is an effective and relevant learning approach for developing meaningful, holistic, and character-building science learning in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.
