Abstract
This research aimed to enhance students’ vocabulary mastery through visual aids for third-grade students at SD Mulia Bakti Purwokerto. The study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Data were collected through vocabulary tests. The results showed a significant enhancement in students’ vocabulary mastery. In Cycle I, the mean score increased from 61.57 to 78.71. In Cycle II, the mean score further increased from 70.14 to 86.42. The final results indicated that the students’ mean score exceeded the predetermined target score of 70. In conclusion, visual aids can enhance the vocabulary mastery of third-grade students at SD Mulia Bakti Purwokerto.
