Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi metode Iqro’, tingkat kelancaran membaca Al-Qur’an, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat pembelajaran pada santri pemula di Majelis Ta’lim Al-Ijtihad Desa Gununglurah. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih adanya santri yang mengalami kesulitan dalam membaca Al-Qur’an dengan lancar dan benar.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari ustadz/ustadzah dan santri pemula.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Iqro’ diterapkan secara bertahap melalui latihan membaca langsung, pengulangan bacaan, dan bimbingan individual. Penerapan metode Iqro’ membantu meningkatkan kelancaran membaca Al-Qur’an santri pemula. Faktor pendukung meliputi kompetensi ustadz/ustadzah, motivasi santri, dan sarana pembelajaran, sedangkan faktor penghambat meliputi perbedaan kemampuan santri dan kurangnya latihan membaca di rumah.
